Teaching Personnel is pleased to offer an exciting opportunity to join one of our valued SEN partner schools in King’s Lynn. The school is seeking a committed and experienced professional to take on the role of a designated safeguarding lead. The school caters for children who for various of reasons cannot or do not attend mainstream school.
Key Responsibilities
Manage safeguarding and child protection concerns
Assist staff with reporting and addressing child protection issues
Maintain accurate safeguarding records and ensure timely reporting in line with national guidance
Attend meetings for identified pupils and represent the school’s safeguarding views
Work collaboratively with internal and external professionals
Provide staff training and ensure updates from Keeping Children Safe in Education are effectively implemented
The Ideal Candidate:
✔️ Passionate about supporting and safeguarding young people and children
✔️ DSL trained.
✔️Previous DSL experience.
✔️ DBS on the update service (or willing to apply)
✔️ Proactive, enthusiastic, and ready to make a difference!

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
