About The Role
We’re looking for a Senior Platform Engineer to own and evolve our Azure infrastructure, driving best-in-class cloud engineering across our omnichannel platform. You’ll lead with Terraform, shape CI/CD standards and enable secure, scalable delivery that makes a real difference to pet parents nationwide.
The role offers hybrid working from our Support Office in Handforth, Cheshire.
Key responsibilities will include:
1. Designing, maintaining and evolving Azure infrastructure using Terraform (IaC)
2. Owning and optimising CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps)
3. Implementing secure, resilient architecture (private networking, zero-trust, HA/DR)
4. Collaborating with Engineering, Data and Architecture teams on scalable solutions
5. Enhancing observability and governance (Azure Monitor, automation)
6. Creating reusable modules and uplifting engineering standards across teams
What You’ll Bring
Essential
7. Strong Terraform expertise in production Azure environments
8. Deep Azure knowledge (networking, identity, data services)
9. Proven experience owning CI/CD and driving cloud best practices
10. Track record of improving security, resilience and scalability in complex environments
11. Collaborative mindset within agile, cross-functional teams
Nice to Have
12. Experience with Event Hubs, Fabric or real-time data platforms
13. Exposure to multi-cloud environments (., GCP)
14. Familiarity with observability tooling (Log Analytics, Grafana)
