About the Role
We are seeking a Senior environmental professional to support our Environmental Management and Assessment Team in London or South East locations (London, Cambridge, Guildford, Reading, Basingstoke, Southampton). You will work on projects across sectors such as energy, aviation, nuclear, rail, property, and local government. The role involves environmental design, assessment, and management throughout project lifecycles, from concept to delivery.
As part of one of the UK's largest environmental consultancies, you'll be involved in high-profile projects, overseeing environmental inputs, shaping projects from early stages, and working with multidisciplinary teams to enhance environmental and community benefits.
Key Responsibilities
* Providing environmental advice to clients and project teams
* Managing environmental inputs like EIAs, environmental management plans, and statements
* Leading project delivery, quality, and safety performance
* Building client relationships and supporting business development
* Mentoring junior staff and promoting an inclusive, safety-conscious culture
What We Seek
* Environmental degree qualification, ideally with chartered status (IEMA or similar)
* Experience in EIA processes, legislation, and multidisciplinary collaboration
* Strong communication and report-writing skills
* Proactive approach and ability to manage projects and bids
