Your Role

Support the Head of Science in curriculum planning, staff development, and departmental leadership
*
Deliver high-quality Biology lessons across KS3, GCSE, and A-Level, ensuring students are well-prepared for external assessments
*
Assist in monitoring student progress, analysing data, and implementing intervention strategies
*
Provide guidance and support to teaching colleagues, including early career teachers
*
Coordinate practical work, field trips, and enrichment activities such as biology clubs and STEM outreach
*
Foster a culture of curiosity and scientific thinking within the department and wider school community
Ideal Candidate
*
Qualified Biology teacher with a relevant degree and QTS
*
Experience teaching across all key stages with a strong record of student progress and engagement
*
Leadership experience or readiness to develop leadership skills within a collaborative team
*
Passion for biology, practical science, and inspiring young people
*
Excellent organisational skills and commitment to maintaining a safe and stimulating learning environment
