CONTRACT HOURS: 39 hours per week
SALARY: Up to £50,000 per year, depending on experience
The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and commercially minded CQC Registered Manager to lead a dedicated healthcare team in delivering high-quality private services for children and young people.
You’ll take the lead on business growth, team development, and operational performance—while ensuring compliance with clinical and regulatory frameworks such as the CQC.

What You’ll Be Doing
Patient Care & Experience
* Champion a culture of patient-centred care, learning from feedback to drive excellence.
* Support the Practice Manager in effectively and empathetically handling any complaints or concerns.
Team Leadership & HR
* Lead all HR activity, including recruitment, onboarding, coaching, and performance management.
* Mentor and develop the Practice Manager to lead with confidence and independence.
* Foster collaboration across clinical and administrative teams.
* Oversee payroll, pensions, and employee relations.
Governance & Compliance
* Act as CQC Registered Manager, ensuring full compliance with regulatory requirements and readiness for inspection.
* Maintain up-to-date policies, procedures, and clinical governance frameworks.
* Ensure ongoing compliance with Health & Safety, Information Governance, and sector-specific guidance.
Finance & Business Development
* Manage budgets, monitor performance, and identify opportunities for financial growth.
* Analyse key business data to drive continuous improvement.
* Develop and implement a business plan covering growth, recruitment, KPIs, and marketing strategy.
Operations & Facilities
* Oversee day-to-day practice operations and building management.
* Ensure facilities are safe, welcoming, and well-maintained.
* Manage relationships with external contractors and building tenants.
Digital & IT
* Ensure secure, efficient IT systems and data management practices.
* Oversee website and digital communications, supporting ongoing development and innovation.
* Lead on information governance.
Commercial & Marketing
* Increase brand visibility through local initiatives, social media, and events.
* Build relationships within the community and specialist sectors.
* Identify and deliver innovative ways to enhance the practice’s services and reputation.

Essential Requirements
* Current or previous CQC Registered Manager experience.
* General management experience, ideally in healthcare or a service-led sector.
* Strong understanding of HR processes and best practice.
* Enhanced DBS clearance (or willingness to obtain one).
