Purpose of the Role
This role is critical to driving our commercial success by accelerating business growth through strong relationships with contractors, alongside architects, surveyors, designers, and building owners. Reporting to the Regional Manager, you will play a key role in influencing specifications, converting opportunities on site, and delivering profitable projects. You will join a highly energised team of specialists and become part of the industry's most professional and commercially focused technical sales teams.

To develop strong, trusted relationships with customers and contractors by providing commercially focused solutions, high-level specifications, and bespoke technical advice. Working closely with the regional team to deliver agreed sales targets through securing specifications, influencing project decisions, and converting opportunities on site to grow Sika's presence within the roofing sector.
To actively develop and expand the contractor and customer base within the region, driving sustainable sales growth and increased market penetration by engaging with main contractors, roofing contractors, architects, surveyors, building owners, specifiers, and local authorities.

The Skills
* Strong communication, problem-solving, negotiation, and relevant IT skills.
* Experience within the UK construction industry (roofing experience beneficial but not essential),
* Experience supporting specifications, influencing project decisions, and delivering CPD or technical presentations to a range of construction professionals.
A proven track record of delivering project-led sales within the construction industry.
A strong commitment to professional and personal development from day one, supported by comprehensive local training, product knowledge, and leadership development initiatives, complemented by the global Sika Business School.
