We’re looking for community-minded volunteers to join our Governing Body and help us continue to thrive.
What Governors Do
* Set strategic direction: champion our vision, values and ethos; agree priorities for school improvement.
* Hold leaders to account: ask thoughtful questions about teaching, learning, achievement, behaviour and safety.
* Oversee finances: ensure our budget is well managed and resources match pupils’ needs.
You don’t need to be an education expert. We welcome people from all backgrounds who have:
* an interest in local education and pupils’ outcomes
* an open, enquiring mind and the confidence to ask constructive questions
* the ability to work well with others and make balanced decisions
* some time to attend meetings each term and visit school occasionally
We’re especially keen to hear from people with experience in finance, HR, safeguarding/SEND, legal, estates, IT/data, or marketing/communications, but this is not essential.

This is a voluntary role. All governors complete statutory safeguarding (DBS) checks. You do not need to be a parent.
