Responsibilities
* As an Assistant Manager, you will cover the store in the absence of the Store Manager and gain valuable experience to support your next step in management.
* Take responsibility for activities from ordering stock to training employees and driving sales, while ensuring high levels of customer service.
* Lead the team in developing a motivated and empowered environment through a positive and innovative management style.
* Provide outstanding customer service and support colleagues to maximise sales and profit.
A Few Things About You
We are looking for Assistant Managers who are confident, proud and passionate about delivering an amazing customer experience, with the ability to motivate and lead a team.
* Previous supervisory or management experience leading a team within a retail environment.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong working relationships.
* A passion for developing colleagues through apprenticeships and in-house training.
* Ability to deal with conflict in an effective and professional manner.
* Understanding of budgeting and targets.
* Knowledge of health & safety legislation within the retail environment.
