Overview
Are you a passionate Veterinary Surgeon looking to join a thriving, mixed practice in beautiful Northumberland? Based in the charming market town of Morpeth, our 27-vet practice offers a unique opportunity to work with a diverse team across small animal, exotics, equine, farm, and export disciplines.
About Us
We operate a purpose-built hospital at Whorral Bank, complemented by 8 branch surgeries throughout the Northumberland area. Our facilities include 4 theatres, dental and radiography suites, endoscopy, ultrasound, ECG, hydrotherapy suites, and separate wards for cats, dogs, exotics, and small mammals. We provide our own out-of-hours service and have a team with multiple certificate holders across various specialties.
The Role
We are seeking a part-time Veterinary Surgeon to join our small animal department, working up to 28 hours per week. You can choose full or part days or a flexible weekly schedule, and you will be based at either the main hospital or a branch. The role is primarily first opinion, with opportunities to develop clinical skills or for certificate holders to thrive in a supportive environment.
