The role
As a Programme Manager, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You’ll take on a pivotal leadership role within one of our most complex and high-value programmes. You’ll be responsible for overseeing the full lifecycle of delivery, ensuring successful outcomes for our clients and stakeholders.
Day-to-day, you’ll
1. Lead on Health, Safety, Security, Environment and Quality within the project
2. Deliver the programme to baseline schedule, cost and performance criteria
3. Establish and maintain governance arrangements aligned with our Business Management System
4. Plan and monitor the programme (profit & loss), reporting regularly to the Sponsor
5. Manage customer interface and project risks, implementing effective responses
This is a full-time role working 37 hours per week, with flexibility within core hours, based at either Stoke Gifford, Gloucestershire or Warrington, Cheshire on a hybrid pattern (2 to 3 days onsite).
Essential experience of the Programme Manager:
6. Proven leadership at Senior Project Manager or Programme Manager level
7. Experience in Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) environments
8. Strong understanding of NEC4 contract frameworks
9. Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage stakeholder relationships
10. Full lifecycle project delivery within industrial, engineering or civils sectors
Qualifications for the Programme Manager:
11. Degree-level qualification in a relevant discipline
12. Chartered status or equivalent is advantageous
