Location: LondonContract: 2–3 month contract (potential to go permanent) Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 (pro rata)Start date: March 2026The RoleThe client is seeking a personable, proactive Office Assistant to support a close-knit, mature team. This is a varied, hands-on role suited to someone with strong common sense, a can-do attitude, and a genuinely kind approach to working with others. The role will provide office management support alongside light PA duties.Key Responsibilities
* Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the office, monitoring general office needs and acting proactively
* Providing PA support to two senior executives, including diary coordination and travel arrangements (hotels and travel booked via a travel agent)
* Acting as a reliable and friendly point of contact within the office
* Managing meeting rooms and ensuring the office is well organised and presentable
* Assisting with general administrative tasks as required
* Being proactive during quieter periods, identifying tasks and ways to support the wider team
* Working collaboratively with a supportive and self-sufficient leadership team, including coordination with an EA based in New York
The Ideal Candidate
* 1–2 years’ experience in an office support, office assistant, or junior PA role (or a very switched-on junior with the right attitude)
* Naturally organised, observant, and proactive
* Approachable, kind, and a good colleague who enjoys being part of a team
* Comfortable working independently and using initiative when priorities are not clearly defined
* Professional, discreet, and reliable
* Happy in a small, mature, and collaborative office environment
