In this role, you'll provide senior-level IT infrastructure and systems engineering support, specializing in design and implementation for clients of our Managed Services Provider and Consultancy. You'll serve as the final escalation point for IT issues, leveraging your exceptional technical prowess. The position involves Service Desk support for escalated issues across all levels, occasional after-hours work, on-call support, and site visits. Strong communication skills are essential, as you'll interact directly with non-technical staff. Responsibilities: Offer third-line technical support for hardware and software issues. Serve as a technical mentor for team members, fostering their growth and skills enhancement. Provide technical support and engineering for networking infrastructure, contributing to WAN, LAN, and Cloud design, implementation, and security. Take ownership of assigned incidents and oversee them through to resolution. Deliver exceptional customer service, going above and beyond for our clients. Employ a hands-on problem-solving approach and excel in multitasking and workload prioritization. Requirements: Minimum 5 years of demonstrable experience in IT support services or consultancy. Proficiency in installation and configuration of systems. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Server technologies including MS Server (2016, 2019, 2022), Active Directory Services, Group Policy, Windows Terminal Services, Certificate Services, ADFS, and PowerShell. Experience in advanced Exchange (2016, 2019) installation, configuration, and troubleshooting. Expertise in virtualization configuration and troubleshooting (HyperV/VMware). Strong firewall troubleshooting skills across mainstream products. Proficiency in network management including TCP/IP, L3 routing, VLAN management, and LAN/WAN. Experience in SQL Server troubleshooting and disaster recovery. Familiarity with anti-virus technologies such as Eset and Bitdefender. Desirable Skills: Microsoft 365 expertise including Azure, SharePoint, OneDrive, Exchange, and Intune/Endpoint Manager. Proficiency in scripting and task automation using PowerShell. Relevant Microsoft certifications in Networking/Desktop/Servers. Advanced level experience with VoIP systems (CTX) - troubleshooting and administration.
