You are a qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England, possessing at least 2 years of post‑qualifying experience. You excel at thinking creatively, challenging others, and making evidence‑based decisions. You are enthusiastic and committed to fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration, and you have the leadership and management skills needed to support others in developing risk‑management skills. If offered the role, you will need to undergo an Enhanced DBS check as part of the pre‑employment process. As a Senior Practitioner at Hillingdon, you will mentor, coach, and supervise aspiring social workers, while also providing top‑level support to vulnerable children and young people. You will assess and manage high‑risk situations, using systemic and solution‑focused approaches to implement effective safety plans. You'll have access to specialist assessments and therapeutic resources to create optimal plans for families in need. Your role will include managing a complex caseload, providing expert advice, conducting professional supervision for other social workers, preparing court reports, and participating in team and service planning while maintaining professional standards and contributing to a collaborative work culture.
* Social Work England registration
