What you’ll do on a typical day:
Lead and develop a team of Line Managers and Administrators across two warehouses, driving engagement, performance, attendance, training and continuous improvement
* Manage administration operations and stock returns, ensuring system accuracy, audit trails, quality standards and legal compliance
* Plan and control weekly labour and workload demands, proactively identifying risks and improving administrative efficiency and productivity
* Partner with senior leadership to set, measure and deliver operational targets, taking corrective action and supporting business priorities
* Champion Health & Safety, people processes and compliance, leading investigations, disciplinary processes, and fostering a culture of open communication and lean thinking
What you need to succeed at GXO:
Proven admin team wrangler — you’ve successfully led Administration teams and know how to keep things running smoothly in a busy operation
* A brilliant communicator who can switch from shop‑floor chats to senior‑level conversations without missing a beat
* A natural leader who leads from the front, takes ownership, and isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves when needed
* Tech‑savvy and confident using Google and Microsoft tools
* Health & Safety smart, with hands‑on experience keeping warehouse environments safe, compliant and audit‑ready
