Hours: Full TimeLocation: Cardiff | hybrid | 3 days from home.Job Reference: CWS514After securing several new lenders, the firm is looking to recruit 2 to 3 Residential Property Solicitors, CLC qualified professionals, trainee solicitors, or fee earners seeking to qualify, to help meet increased demand. Fee earners also benefit from the support of paralegals and assistants to help manage their caseloads.RESPONSIBILITIESManage a varied caseload of residential and buy-to-let transactions from instruction to completion. Provide clear, commercially focused advice on all aspects of residential conveyancing. Draft, review and negotiate a range of legal documents, including contracts, transfers, leases and mortgage paperwork. Conduct and interpret property searches, identifying risks and advising clients accordingly. Work closely with agents, lenders, brokers, surveyors and other solicitors to keep transactions moving. Maintain full compliance with SRA and AML requirements and keep well-organised files. Deliver excellent client care with regular updates throughout each transaction.Handle post-completion work, including SDLT submissions, Land Registry applications and any requisitions.REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:Ideally you will be a qualified Solicitor (England & Wales) or CLC or equivalent/qualified by experience in Residential Conveyancing. We are also open to candidates who are looking to complete their Training contract, or are close to qualifying through the SQE route.
