NXTGEN are working in exclusive partnership with a growing business based in Wymondham to recruit an Accounts Assistant to join their close-knit finance team on a full-time basis. As Accounts Assistant, you'll work closely with the Management Accountant and wider team to support the day-to-day running of the AP and AR functions. The role will be varied and fast-paced, so the ability to manage and prioritise your workload will be key to your success.
Key Responsibilities will include:
Maintaining AP/AR ledgers in a timely and accurate manner
Processing supplier and customer invoices
Performing bank reconciliations
Assisting with VAT returns
Handling supplier queries efficiently
Supporting daily cash reconciliations and managing petty cashThe successful candidate will have prior experience working in an Accounts Assistant role, ideally within a high-volume purchase ledger environment. Experience using SAGE is highly desirable. A proactive attitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work well as part of a team will be essential.
