About the Role
Essex County Council is advertising the role of Wellbeing Ambassador on behalf of Castle Point Borough Council.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the Public Health & Active Wellbeing Manager and the Wellbeing Team in delivering community‑designed health and wellness programs across recreational services and communities, addressing the needs of people to improve health and wellbeing.
* Promote, network and build professional relationships with key partners and stakeholders.
* Maximise health and wellness outreach, activity delivery and co‑design of community‑led health and wellness sessions across council recreational facilities, open spaces and key locations.
* Deliver health and wellbeing activities as required.
* Carry out regular health and wellbeing outreach and support to champion physical, mental and social wellbeing initiatives.
* Build positive relationships with communities through activity support, exercise and wellness reviews.
* Collaborate with wider council services and local partnerships as required.
* Champion positive and supportive health and wellbeing environments.
* Carry out robust monitoring and evaluation exercises as required in line with policies and processes.
Key Skills & Abilities

* Fitness instruction (desirable but not essential).
