The Job you’ll do * Reporting to the General Manager the job holder will involve overseeing installation, repairs and upkeep of the company’s site, buildings and works machinery. * The Manager is responsible for a team of Engineers and has responsibility for the control of sub-contractors. * Plan and oversee all maintenance, repair and installation activities. * Recommend, implement, and maintain a preventative maintenance schedule. * Undertake and maintain a risk assessment of plant/equipment, write and implement action and improvement plans as required. * Develop engineering procedures and ensure implementation. * Manage the yearly objectives and supervise the weekly completion of work across all engineering functions. * Support the apprentice assessment days. * Manage and develop apprentices within the engineering team and ensure they follow a structured training programme. * Manage relationship, prices and service standards with contractors and service providers. * Manage and implement PUWER risk assessments and actions plan. * Manage equipment inventory and place orders when necessary. * Manage expenses and control the budget for maintenance. * Manage the database and reports to track daily outstand...
