Management Accountant
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Management Accountant to join a well-established, multi-site organisation based near Slough.
This is a key role in the business working closely as a business partner with the Operations and Sales Teams preparing budgets and forecast and delivering the monthly management accounts for your area whilst working closely with the business operation to provide meaningful information and analysis for informed decision making.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Ensure that appropriate analysis is provided to the relevant parties on a timely basis and also to support with all ad-hoc information requests.
2. Proactive interrogation of information to identify any issues, trends and patterns, and working with management on using/approaching these.
3. Work with all teams to ensure the P&L's are accurate and submitted on a timely basis Assist in carrying out financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting for all locations
4. Analysing and understanding variance to budget and prior periods; highlighting any potential areas of concerns to the appropriate people
5. Prepare the designated locations management accounts so that the operational management team are able to properly assess the financial performance of that location, region or nationally
