Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Hydraulic Engineer required to join a global, leading engineering manufacturer.
The successful Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Hydraulic Engineer will provide mechanical repair, servicing, overhaul, and maintenance of bespoke hydraulic systems and associated fluid power products across a range of engineering industries throughout Midlands and South West UK. Full product training provided.
The Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Hydraulic Engineer will ideally have hands-on mechanical experience with fluid power products such as hydraulics, pumps, valves, instrumentation, actuators, compressed air systems, or pipework systems, ideally gained within the agricultural, marine, or aerospace industries.

Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Hydraulic Engineer Role
Provide mechanical repair, service, maintenance, and overhaul of bespoke hydraulic systems.
Undertake planned and preventative maintenance, as well as diagnostics and fault finding on hydraulic equipment at customer sites across Midlands and South West UK.
Install, replace, and maintain various fluid power components including pumps, valves, actuators, compressed air, pipework etc.
Perform emergency breakdown repairs and troubleshooting for hydraulic systems on-site.
Liaise with various engineering departments to ensure smooth service delivery.
Field based role covering Midlands and South West UK.
Based out of the Workshop near Gloucester when not field based.
Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Hydraulic Engineer Requirements
Proven service and maintenance skills within mechanical engineering environments.
Experience as a Service Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, Service Technician, Field Service Engineer, Hydraulic Engineer, or similar with a mechanical bias.
Hands-on experience with hydraulics, hydraulic power packs, hydraulic actuators, hydraulic presses or similar is advantageous.
Mechanical engineering background with exposure to fluid power systems such as hydraulics, pumps, valves, instrumentation, actuators, compressed air or relatable hydraulic systems.
Flexibility to travel to customer sites across Midlands and South West UK and surrounding areas.
Willing to commute and work out of the Workshop near Gloucester when not field based.
Service or maintenance experience on mechanical products within the agricultural, marine, or aerospace industries is advantageous.
Full UK drivers licence.
