Our client based in Bowburn, Durham provides support for various needs including mental health, substance use, domestic abuse, supported housing and employment or training. They currently have an exciting opportunity for a Repairs & Maintenance Administrator to join their team as soon as possible!
The role will be a temporary contract, lasting until January 2026 initially.
This is a full-time position working 9:00am-5:00pm Monday to Friday, with a pay rate of £14.50 per hour.
The purpose of the role is to provide the coordination and administration of the day-to-day repairs, maintenance and compliance.
Duties of the role will include:-
Identify reported repair issues through consultation with the customer
Allocate and schedule repairs within agreed timescales
Ensure all periodic testing such as gas safety, electrical inspection, fire alarm, emergency lighting and other maintenance is completed
Provide day to day coordination of the internal Repairs & Maintenance Operatives
Be the first point of contact for Repairs & Maintenance Service for customers, support workers, housing staff and contractors
Monitor and update the internal system/database ensuring all information is accurate and recorded in a timely manner
Support to source and administer new external contractors in new and existing areas, obtain quotes and seek manager approval in regards to budgets
