The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Internal Sales Engineer to join a well-established engineering and manufacturing business.
This role would suit someone with a technical engineering background who enjoys customer interaction, solution selling and developing long-term client relationships. Working as part of a busy commercial team, you will support customers from initial enquiry through to quotation, order processing and account development.
Responsibilities
Managing customer enquiries and preparing quotations
Providing technical and commercial support
Processing customer orders and maintaining CRM records
Developing existing customer accounts and identifying new opportunities
Working closely with external sales teams to maximise business opportunities
Reviewing customer requirements and ensuring commercial objectives are achieved
Building strong relationships with customers and stakeholders
Requirements
Mechanical Engineering qualification or equivalent industry experience
Previous experience within Internal Sales, Technical Sales or Sales Engineering
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Commercial awareness and customer-focused approach
Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office
Ability to understand technical engineering products and specifications
Desirable
Engineering manufacturing environment experience
Valves, flow control or process industry exposure
Oil & Gas industry experience
