These roles will support our growing Water Utilities portfolio, delivering water and wastewater designs across infrastructure and non‑infrastructure projects. The positions involve end‑to‑end design delivery, from feasibility and optioneering through to detailed design for construction and commissioning, as part of a multi‑disciplinary team. Location: Derby or Warrington Responsibilities: Deliver work in line with project controls, procedures, and quality standards. Support the design team in a broad range of technical design activities. Produce high‑quality design outputs in accordance with company and client CAD standards. Lead and support BIM implementation on projects where required. Provide guidance and supervision to Technicians and Trainee Technicians. Apply knowledge of water and wastewater infrastructure and non‑infrastructure design solutions. Work collaboratively within multi‑disciplinary teams to meet programme requirements, escalating risks or issues as needed. Follow Quality Management System processes throughout the project lifecycle. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental legislation, including CDM Regulations. Skills/Experience required: A foundational understanding of water and wastewater infrastructure and non‑infrastructure design, or a relevant civil engineering background with a willingness to learn. Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, and Navisworks, with a focus on either Civil 3D or Revit. Proficient in MS Office, with strong written and verbal communication skills. Proactive and positive approach to learning new software and applying training to problem‑solving.
