Overview
This role is designed for someone with hands on experience in the Lloyd’s market who is ready to apply their practical knowledge in a consulting environment.
You will use your real world operational experience to help clients improve underwriting processes, strengthen controls, and enhance day to day efficiency. Working independently on assigned tasks and supported by senior team members, you will contribute operational insight, perform analysis, and support project delivery across a range of client engagements.

What you’ll do
* Apply hands‑on London Market experience to support client delivery, explaining underwriting, premium, and policy lifecycle processes in a practical, real‑world context.
* Identify operational inefficiencies and support process improvements across underwriting, premium, and delegated authority workflows.
* Bridge the gap between business and technical teams by translating real operational processes into clear requirements, validations, and delivery support.
* Support system implementations and testing by validating workflows, executing test scenarios, and ensuring solutions reflect real market practices.
* Contribute to client engagements through workshops, analysis, and deliverables, providing operational insight while developing consulting skills.
* Support project delivery and coordination activities, including tracking actions, contributing to documentation, and collaborating with cross‑functional teams.
* Train and guide teams on specialty market processes and best practices
What we’re looking for
* Hands‑on experience in the London Market (e.g. underwriting support, operations, delegated authority, claims, or premium processing).
* Strong understanding of the Lloyd’s and specialty insurance lifecycle.
* Ability to read and interpret slips (MRCs).
* Practical experience of underwriting or premium workflows and how work is executed day‑to‑day.
* Ability to translate operational experience into clear explanations for both technical and non‑technical audiences.
* Practical understanding of market procedures, controls, and operational processes.
* Exposure to transformation or change projects beneficial (direct experience not required—we’ll provide training)
* Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
* Eager to move into consultancy or project‑based work
