Responsibilities
* Perform TIG welding (GTAW) on stainless steel, aluminum, carbon steel, and alloys.
* Interpret and work from blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols.
* Fabricate components using cutting, grinding, fitting, and finishing techniques.
* Ensure weld quality meets company and industry standards through proper technique and inspection.
* Set up, adjust, and maintain welding equipment and tools.
* Collaborate with engineers and team members to meet project specifications and deadlines.
* Follow strict safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organized work area.
Requirements
* Certified TIG welder (GTAW); AWS or equivalent certifications are a plus.
* Minimum 2–5 years of TIG welding and fabrication experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
* Experience in MIG welding is a benefit.
* Strong knowledge of metals, filler materials, shielding gases, and welding processes.
* Ability to perform precision welding on thin-gauge materials without distortion.
* Skilled in using fabrication tools (saws, grinders, measuring instruments, etc.).
* Physically capable of lifting materials and working in varied positions (standing, bending, overhead).
* Strong attention to detail, teamwork, and problem‑solving abilities.
Work hours
* Basic 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
* Installation hours over weekends, at overtime rate of pay.
