A highly regarded legal practice based in the South East is seeking a skilled Commercial Property Lawyer to join their expanding Commercial department. This growing team undertakes a wide range of high-quality work across Commercial Property, Corporate, and Commercial Law, with additional support from well-established Employment and Dispute Resolution departments. The successful Commercial Property Lawyer will have experience handling a varied caseload in an established legal practice, ideally with exposure to both transactional property work and wider commercial matters. This role would suit a Commercial Property Lawyer who is confident working with SME clients, property developers, investors, and lending institutions, offering practical and commercial advice to a diverse client base.
The Commercial Property Lawyer’s role
The Commercial Property Lawyer will manage a broad range of matters including commercial acquisitions and disposals, development projects, landlord and tenant issues, and asset management. You will also deal with banking and finance agreements, business and asset transactions, and elements of insolvency and restructuring.
As a Commercial Property Lawyer, you will work closely with colleagues across the commercial and corporate teams, assisting with corporate support matters and contributing to the firm’s wider client offering. This is a hands-on position, requiring excellent client communication and the ability to manage files independently while collaborating with others as needed.
The Commercial Property Lawyer
* Qualified Solicitor in England and Wales (NQ-5+ PQE)
* Experience in commercial property transactions and asset management
* Confident with landlord and tenant work, development, and finance-related matters
* Strong interpersonal skills and a commercial approach to problem-solving
* Willingness to support junior colleagues and engage in business development activities
