We are currently working with a leading manufacturing company who are looking to expand their team by taking on a Product Pricing Administrator. The successful candidate will be capable of managing customer enquiries and quotation requests, providing product specific guidance to form pricing estimates and promote appropriate products relating to customer requirements.
The candidate must have experience of working in an Administration based position within the manufacturing/ engineering/ construction industry, with experience of handling pricing enquiries via email and telephone, creating quotations or estimates for customers using learned product knowledge to assist answer their queries.
Product Pricing Administrator Benefits:
Salary of £26,200 rising to £27,4000 after 6-month probation, and again to £28,500 after 12 months
10% yearly bonus based on company performance
Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm

Product Pricing Administrator Duties and Responsibilities
Responding to customer enquiries via email and telephone, providing information on projects, providing quotations for products based on the customer’s order, advising on product specifications and lead times for arrival
Provide product guidance to customers on the appropriate use and application of products
Ensure all information is supplied at order stage, completing contract documents accurately to ensure orders are processed as per customer and specification requirements
Interpreting customer’s request for products in line with their specification
Ensure correct use and application of the pricing guidelines for all products at quotation stage
Liaising with procurement and planning regarding lead times, ensuring that all lead times are adhered to at order and quotation stage
Providing effective administrative support to the external sales team
Pass appropriate technical enquiries to the internal technical services team
Handling any customer complaints efficiently
Product Pricing Administrator Essential Experience/Qualifications required
Experience within a manufacturing/ engineering/ construction administrative support or customer led environment
Experience of producing quotations or pricing for customers is essential
Proven experience of providing product guidance on technical products
Able to build strong relationships with customers
Experience of being the main point of contact for technical enquiries for sales aftercare
Excellent customer service skills and strong communication both written and verbal
Proven ability to learn technical product knowledge to be able to advise customers on products
Knowledge of a SAP/ ERP/ MRP system is desirable but not essential, you must have Microsoft Office experience including Excel and Word.
