SushiDog has brought a new innovative style of selling sushi to the UK and is the first of its kind - we make made-to-order sushi rolls and bowls exactly how the customer wants. Applicants are not expected to have any previous experience working in a sushi kitchen and will receive full training on all aspects of the job. Tasks and Responsibilities: - Maintains a cheerful and helpful manner while greeting and serving guests and preparing their orders - Provides exceptional customer service during all times of the shift - Demonstrates a complete understanding of menu items and explains them to customers accurately - Uses Point of Sale (POS) system/cash register to record the order and compute the amount of the bill and collect payments from guests - Prepares food neatly, according to the formula and in a timely manner - Checks products in fridge unit area and restocks items to ensure a sufficient supply throughout the shift - Understands and adheres to proper food handling, safety and cleaning standards during food preparation, service and clean up - Clean and maintain all areas of the restaurant - Understands and adheres to all quality standards, formulas and procedures as outlined in the SushiDog Recipe book - Maintains a professional appearance and grooming standards - Performs light paperwork duties as assigned, including temperature checks and opening/closing tasks
