Job Overview
As a trainee Nurse Practitioner at MFT you'll be expected to work within the NMC code of Professional Conduct working throughout the department in triage, assessment, treatment room and co-ordination utilizing state-of-the‑art equipment to ensure that all our patients are seen efficiently and effectively, meeting all their clinical needs within the 4 hour target.

The post holder will prioritise, assess, plan, evaluate and deliver all relevant aspects of care to an agreed and expected high standard. Work closely with the multi‑disciplinary team and contribute to the clinical governance process. Act as a mentor/preceptor to junior staff, with specific responsibility for pre‑registration students. Participate fully in a structured competency‑based Programme, as required while working in all areas of the Eye Emergency Department.
