We are currently looking for a People Experience Partner to join us at our facility in Wellingborough. As a People Experience Partner, you will play a critical role in shaping HR strategy within a manufacturing environment, ensuring that employees—from shop floor teams to leadership—are engaged, supported, and empowered. Partnering closely with operational leaders and Centres of Excellence, you will drive HR initiatives that drive One Axalta Culture, Organisational Effectiveness, Strengthen Operational Excellence, Elevate our Talent and Strengthen Our Team, Culture and Capabilities. Based at our refinish site in Wellingborough, you’ll be supporting the development and production of market leading products across our UK Refinish Business. There will also be a requirement to support the industrial sites within the UK portfolio with employee relations cases and HR projects as required. Key responsibilities: Build strong partnerships with operational leaders to align HR strategies with manufacturing goals. Support workforce planning, talent development, and retention strategies tailored to production needs. Drive employee engagement programs to boost morale, motivation, and operational efficiency. Collaborate with Centres of Excellence to implement best-in-class HR frameworks. Embed lean HR practices to drive continuous improvement in manufacturing processes. Support change management, particularly in areas of, digital transformation, and upskilling. Facilitate leadership development and training specific to operational excellence in manufacturing. Ensure adherence to employment law, HR policies, and ethical labour practices. Key requirements: Solid experience within an HR function; broad HR generalist experience across multiple disciplines is strongly preferred. HR experience in a manufacturing environment is highly desirable. Proven ability to partner with operational leaders on workforce strategy and engagement. Strong knowledge of employee relations, workforce management, and production-led HR challenges. Experience working with Centres of Excellence to drive HR innovation. Excellent relationship-building skills with both shop floor teams and management. Ability to implement data-driven solutions that enhance productivity and engagement. Prior experience working in a large, multi-national, heavily matrixed company is strongly preferred. Ability to effectively influence and work through others. Must have a solutions orientation and be able to develop “win/win” solutions that support business initiatives and ensure compliance with local laws and regulations. Demonstrated ability to work in and manage ambiguity – dealing with issues that do not always have a process or a system in place. Ability to position self as credible (garners respect, acts with integrity, keeps commitments); proactive (has a point of view, challenges assumptions, takes initiative); and a trusted thought partner (builds relationships, delivers results). Ability to provide creative solutions and unique approaches to HR/business challenges. Proven experience in managing multiple projects with strong prioritisation skills.
