Responsibilities Responsibilities Provide support to the Minister in all aspects of Ministerial business, including at meetings and accompanying them on external engagements. Manage at least 1 member of staff. Provide a timely flow of information and advice on policy, communications, and logistics to and from the Minister. Work as part of the portfolio Private Office team, providing resilience and cover outside normal hours as needed, based on a pre-agreed rota where on-call allowances and overtime may be claimed. Establish and maintain good working relationships with internal colleagues (including communications, special advisers, policy unit and others) and external stakeholders. Qualifications Success Profile Success profiles are specific to each job and they include the mix of skills, experience and behaviours candidates will be assessed on. In person support is required at least 3 days per week for this role. The post is a full-time role, but staff with different working patterns are invited to apply, and we will assess proposed working patterns against the business requirements for this post.
