We’re recruiting for a specialist Secondary PRU provision supporting students aged 11–16 who require additional behavioural, emotional, and social support.
Many of the young people benefit hugely from strong, calm, and consistent male role models — someone who can build trust, set boundaries, and support them to re-engage with education.

Acting as a consistent, positive male role model

Supporting emotional regulation and behaviour strategies

De-escalating challenging situations calmly and professionally

Encouraging engagement in lessons and vocational activities

Promoting accountability, respect, and independence

Supporting during transitions, breaktimes, and off-site activities
This role requires confidence, resilience, and emotional intelligence.
You will build real relationships — and see real change.
👤 Who This Role Is Ideal For
You do not need previous school experience.
However, you must have:

✔ Emotional resilience
✔ Confidence managing behaviour
✔ A genuine interest in supporting vulnerable young people
✔ The ability to set firm but fair boundaries
