Job Title: Assistant PACE Officer
We are seeking an enthusiastic and positive individual who is customer-focused and committed to delivering modern and effective services.
The successful candidate will be responsible for administering income recovery tasks and income collection within the Council’s Payments, Accounts, Collection & Enforcement (PACE) Team.
This is a part-time position (14.48 hours over 2 days per week) within the Collection Team, based in the city centre at Howden House, operating on a hybrid model. Office attendance is required for training, meetings, and to meet service needs.
Key Responsibilities and Requirements:
* Experience in Income Collection and Performance Monitoring
* Ability to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders regarding income collection and debt management
* Excellent IT skills, including proficiency with the Council’s finance systems
* Proficiency in Microsoft 365 packages
* Strong team player with flexibility and willingness to contribute to team tasks
This role demands a commitment to teamwork, excellent communication and customer care skills, and effective stakeholder engagement.
