About the role

The Associate at True Search will work alongside Partners & Principals in search execution. They will conduct research, build target company lists, source and screen candidates, and manage data entry into our database, Thrive TRM. An Associate on the pathway to Senior Associate should own the entire candidate pipeline, manage candidate relationships, and have more ownership of search activities with less oversight.

What you’ll do

* Work closely with a Partner and/or Principal, serving as a strategic resource for the search team, including candidate & company research, pipeline development, candidate engagement via LinkedIn, email, or phone, and overall project management.
* Ensure completion of job descriptions, target company lists, and market maps at the start of each search.
* Conduct detailed research to map candidates & companies within relevant industries.
* Sourcing, screening, and reviewing 50-75% of all candidates for each assigned search, in partnership with your Partner or Principal.
* Coordinate with the Engagement Administrator on scheduling candidate interactions and maintain communication with the Partner throughout the search.
* Prepare for client update calls with a clear agenda and ensure Thrive TRM is updated and error-free.
* Transcribe notes during client calls, including company updates, candidate updates, and client suggestions.
* Discover and add qualified candidates outside of the True network to Thrive TRM outside of each assigned search.

Preferred experience

* Experience in an externally facing client management or consulting role (change management, human capital, executive search, etc.).
* Proven ability to manage multiple projects and demands with tight deadlines and frequent deliverables.
