As a Trainee Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
* Assisting with the set up and operation of Bystronic laser cutting machinery
* Learning to safely load and unload sheet metal materials using automated systems
* Supporting the interpretation of engineering drawings and work instructions
* Monitoring machine performance and reporting issues to senior engineers
* Carrying out basic checks, housekeeping, and routine maintenance tasks
As a Trainee Engineer, your experience will include:
* Forklift Licence
* A genuine interest in engineering or machinery operation
* Previous experience within manufacturing or a workshop environment (advantageous)
* Ability to follow instructions accurately and work safely
* Basic computer skills and willingness to learn CNC-based systems
* Good attention to detail and a proactive approach to hands-on tasks
