This role is advertised as part of our BBC Extend programme for disabled people. To apply for this role you should identify as deaf, disabled or neurodivergent and must meet either: the definition of disability in the Equality Act (2010), or the definition of disability in the Disability Discrimination Act (1995) if applying in Northern Ireland. You're broadly defined as disabled under both acts if you have a physical or mental impairment that has a substantial and long-term negative or adverse effect on your ability to do normal daily activities. This definition includes both apparent and non-apparent conditions and impairments, and medical conditions such as Cancer, HIV or Multiple Sclerosis.

You'll help amplify our employer brand and Employee Value Proposition (EVP), engaging talent on a global scale.
Global Entertainment Team:

The Global Entertainment Growth & Activation team are responsible for identifying, creating, and executing brand-led growth opportunities for the business. We work across brand like Top Gear and Strictly Come Dancing ensuring consistent and impactful presence across each brand's ecosystem. We work collaboratively with teams across the BBC to grow these brands, we activate across digital platforms, FAST channels, consumer products and more. This apprenticeship offers an opportunity to build experience in global brand management while developing creative, strategic and collaborative skills.
Bluey Marketing: EMEA/UK:

Bluey is one of the world's fastest-growing preschool brands, beloved by kids and adults alike. With over $1bn in retail sales, it's a cultural phenomenon with celebrity superfans like Ryan Reynolds and Kylie Minogue. Beyond TV, the EMEAUK marketing team's mission is to expand the brand within the region, to strengthen its presence and drive commercial success. You'll gain valuable hands-on experience in marketing working with teams in retail, consumer products and digital.
BBC Earth Team:

The BBC Earth Growth & Activation team manages the BBC Earth brand globally, ensuring a consistent and impactful presence across digital platforms, consumer products, FAST channels and more! We collaborate across departments and international teams to align strategy and identify growth opportunities, extending the reach of our natural history and science content beyond broadcast. With our primary goal in furthering the BBC Earth brand, this apprenticeship offers an opportunity to build experience in global brand management while developing creative, strategic and collaborative skills.
YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND IMPACT

As a Multi-Channel Marketer (MCM26) apprentice, this is brilliant opportunity to learn, grow, and contribute - you will:
Work with a BBC team to develop and deliver campaigns relevant to that team
Contribute to the creation of brilliant content which will helps audiences engage with the BBC
Potentially analyse performance data to see what's working, and help improve future campaigns
Support the team with scheduling and deliveries of campaigns, ensuring they are kept on track
Learn tools, techniques and strategies that contribute to world class marketing!
You'll study for your industry recognised apprenticeship qualification, learning both on and off the job.

This means you'll spend at least one day a week studying for a Level 3 Multi-Channel Marketer apprenticeship with our learning provider, using its virtual delivery platform.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

To be eligible for an apprenticeship at the BBC, you must:
Be 18 years old or over by the time the apprenticeship begins in September 2026
Have lived in the UK continuously for the last 3 years prior to the start of the apprenticeship
Be legally eligible to work full-time in the UK for the entire duration of the apprenticeship
Not currently be enrolled in another apprenticeship programme, whether with the BBC or another organisation
Identify as disabled under the Equality Act.
To apply for this scheme, you must also:
Not already hold a qualification in the same subject area (Marketing) at the same or a higher level than this apprenticeship. If you have a Marketing degree (the equivalent of Level 6), or a Marketing qualification at or above Level 3, you are not eligible for this role.
For candidates under the age of 19 years at the start of the apprenticeship: To complete the apprenticeship, you must have achieved maths and English GCSE at Grade 4/C or above or National 5 (Scotland) at C or Functional Skills Level 2 or equivalent qualification.

If you have not achieved these qualifications by the start of your apprenticeship, you will be required to achieve Functional Skills Level 2 before the end of your apprenticeship when you take your end-point assessment.
