Hays are delighted to support one of our key clients as they look to recruit a Management Accountant to support with their commercial accounting requirements on a permanent basis. The hours of work are Monday-Friday, 8.30am-5pm. The organisation offers hybrid working with 3 days from home and 2 days in the office. The organisation have seen sustained growth in recent years and operate sites throughout the UK. They are looking to bring in an established management accountant and would also consider newly qualified CA/ ACCA/ CIMA to support their business.
Your new role
Reporting into the Head of Management Accounting, you will be responsible for various duties which include, but are not limited to;
* Responsible for the full management accounting processes for several entities
* P&L / Balance sheet reconciliations
* Responsible for maintaining fixed asset register
* Intercompany Accounting
* Supporting with Budgeting & Forecasting
* Working with key stakeholders across the business to improve efficiencies
* Liaising with external auditors
* Responsible for IFRS 16 leases
What you'll need to succeed
The organisation is seeking an ambitious and hard-working Accountant, ideally with strong month-end experience. Training will be provided in any of the above-listed areas in which you are less experienced. Therefore, you will be eager to learn and develop and pick up new processes efficiently and effectively. You will have a professional communication style, both verbal and written, as you will liaise with internal stakeholders across the business on adaily basis. The organisation cannot offer sponsorship and so you must havefull right to work on a permanent basis.
