An opportunity to join a well established Leicester based engineering business in an Offline CNC Milling Programmer position. You will join a small team of offline programmers working on a range of projects across multiple sectors
Offline CNC Milling Programmer Responsibilities:
* Programming of 3-5 axis CNC milling machines on a range of projects
* Create and edit programs using Heidenhain (Online)
* Offline programming using EdgeCAM software or equivalent (Fusion 360, MasterCAM etc.)
* Work from technical drawings and specifications to determine machining operations
* Quality measuring devices experience (calipers, micrometers, gauges)
Offline CNC Milling Programmer Experience:
* Around five years’ experience machining complex components
* Skilled with Heidenhain controls (Desirable)
* Offline CAD/CAM programming (EdgeCam Desirable)
* Ability to interpret technical drawings with excellent attention to detail
