HOLMES Trainer
Prospective officers and staff must be held to a higher standard of behaviour and accountability than members of the public, and that therefore their right to privacy can be fettered in certain circumstances. This is to ensure that members of the police are fully aware and accountable for the unique powers entrusted to them and the standards of professional behaviour they swear to uphold.
Applications are invited for the position of HOLMES Trainer, based between Aston Police Station and C3, Park Lane.
The successful candidate will work in an interesting and varied role, responsible for HOLMES training for West Midlands Police and other Forces and Organisations. The trainer will be the subject matter expert in this area for the Force. They will report to the HOLMES System Manager.
Duties will include:
1. Prepare and deliver effective training courses and assessments for all HOLMES roles in accordance with MIRSAP
2. Assist with course evaluation, review and the update of content to ensure it is constantly developed and current
3. Keep abreast of changes and version upgrades to the HOLMES system. Cascade system release notes and prepare and deliver workshops accordingly
