What Will You Do?
1. Monitor and enforce compliance with health, safety, quality and environmental regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
2. Conduct site inspections and audits across heating, insulation, and solar PV installation projects.
3. Support the development, implementation, and review of HSQE policies, procedures, and risk assessments.
4. Lead incident investigations and provide root cause analysis, corrective actions, and reporting.
5. Promote best practices and provide guidance to site teams and subcontractors on HSQE matters.
6. Maintain up-to-date records of training, audits, incidents, and inspections.
7. Assist with accreditation processes such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, MCS, and PAS 2030.
8. Deliver toolbox talks and training sessions to improve workforce awareness and compliance.
9. Collaborate with project managers and supervisors to drive continuous improvement and innovation in HSQE performance.
10. Monitor supply chain compliance and conduct quality assurance checks on materials and workmanship.
11. Keep abreast of relevant legislation, industry developments, and regulatory updates.
What Are We Looking For?
1. NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent H&S qualification (essential)
2. HSQE experience in construction or renewables (preferably heating, insulation, or solar installations)
3. Knowledge of relevant UK legislation (CDM Regulations, Environmental Protection Act, etc.)
4. Experience with ISO management systems and auditing
5. Strong communication and influencing skills
6. Ability to work independently and manage multiple sites
7. Full UK driving licence (essential)
Desirable Qualifications & Experience
1. MCS and PAS 2030 knowledge
2. Environmental awareness certification (e.g. IEMA)
3. Experience working with retrofit or ECO4 schemes
