Your new role
As thepany Accountant, you will be responsible for managing the financial operations of the business, ensuring accuracy andpliance with all regulatory requirements. This role is crucial in the growth of thepany and supporting its strategic development olans. Key responsibilities include preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, developing and managing budgets, ensuring taxpliance, preparing for external audits, conducting financial analysis, monitoring cash flow, implementing cost control measures, and providing ad-hoc financial reports as needed.
What you'll need to succeed
1. Certification: ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent qualification.
2. Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the civil engineering or construction industry (preferred but not essential).
3. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
4. Proficiency in accounting software (, Sage, QuickBooks).
5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
6. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
7. Effectivemunication and interpersonal skills.
8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
