Your challenge
The purpose of this exciting new Cardiac Ultrasound Account Manager role is to build credible relationships with customers and deliver effective positive change. As Account Manager for Cardiac Ultrasound, you will be responsible for maximizing order intake, sales, price realization and customer satisfaction whilst developing and optimizing the customer relationship in order to ensure the long term profitability in the defined accounts.
This role is remote based and will coverthe North East of England and you would ideally be placed in the vicinity of Leeds, Halifax or Sheffield areas. Regular travel will be required.
Your responsibilities
1. Accountable for maximizing order intake, sales (incl. POS Service Contracts) and price realization at the assigned accounts within the district
2. Ensure continuity of the relationship with the account and operate at multiple levels within the accounts’ structure
3. Prepare and maintain annual account plans in line with the regional strategy, AOP and execute commitment at district and modality level
4. Responsible for on-going completion of the funnel management tool (SF.com) and systematically analyzing win/loss deals, expectations, customer satisfaction (NPS), market and competition trends
5. Responsible for the sales forecast across the assigned accounts and driving accuracy and predictability
6. Contribute to the development and implementation of local marketing strategies
7. Coordinate all internal necessary resources to obtain objectives and where necessary involve others
8. Ensure quotations are completed and delivered within time limits
9. Responsible for reporting customer feedback according to applicable quality Standard policy and follow up relevant assigned quality & regulatory training in a timely manner
10. If and when required provide dedicated support to assigned accounts to ensure timely handover of the signed customer acceptance document and support collecting Accounts Receivable (AR)
You are a part of a team that
11. Reports to the Sales Manager - Ultrasound
12. Part of a large team of Cardiac Ultrasound Account Managers
13. Works with a team of Key Account Managers and Applications Specialists across the territory and has a dotted line into the District General Manager
To succeed in this role, you’ll need a customer-first attitude and the following
14. Degree level education (Clinical subjects, Physiology, Engineering or other sciences) or equivalent
15. Experience in a sales role ideally gained within Ultrasound and Radiology.
16. Will also consider someone with a clinical Ultrasound background looking to move into sales.
17. Confidence in working with C suite stakeholders
18. Full driving licence
19. Due to the role working in the healthcare environment, a standard DBS (Disclosure and Baring Service) criminal record check will be required for this role
