Hours: 37 per week Contract: Full time, Permanent Location: Doncaster Salary: £25,662 per annum Main Purpose of the Role We’re looking for a Customer Advisor to join our team in Doncaster. In this key role, you’ll be the first point of contact for our customers—helping to resolve queries, process orders, and ensure we’re delivering exceptional service. Reporting to the Senior Customer Advisor, you’ll work with departments across the business to manage customer enquiries, troubleshoot issues, handle complaints professionally, and support the achievement of our sales and service targets. Duties & Key Responsibilities • Managing general customer queries and processing orders through to completion • Handling pricing and delivery information efficiently and accurately • Collaborating with internal teams to resolve customer concerns within agreed SLAs • Maintaining accurate records and ensuring best-in-class service delivery • Supporting continuous improvement by identifying and resolving recurring issues Person Specification: Essential: • Previous experience in a customer service or support role (ideally in a transactional environment) • Confident IT skills, especially in Google Workspace and SAP • A strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills • Great organisation and time-management abilities • Able to meet deadlines while delivering high-quality, customer-focused solutions • A collaborative approach and a passion for delivering results Desirable: • Knowledge of commercial terms and conditions • Experience working with e-commerce or B2B customer platforms • An understanding of the rail or logistics sector (but not essential!)
