Are you a dedicated and compassionate Special Educational Needs Teacher with a passion for making a real difference in young lives?
Academics is supporting a fantastic SEMH secondary school in Basingstoke, Hampshire, in their search for a talented SEMH Teacher to join their team from September on a full-time, permanent basis.
This inclusive SEMH school, based in Basingstoke, caters to pupils aged 10-16 with social, emotional, and mental health challenges, as well as other complex needs including Autism. With small class sizes and a personalised approach, the school provides a supportive environment where staff can focus on each student's academic and emotional development.
The school has recent improvements and excellent facilities such as a new IT suite, a modern gym, and a refurbished library. The staff team is known for dedication and teamwork, creating an environment where students are encouraged to reach their full potential.
We are looking for a Special Educational Needs Teacher who is emotionally resilient, nurturing, and confident in delivering creative and differentiated lessons from Key Stage 2 to Key Stage 4. Experience in SEMH or SEN settings is desirable, but teachers from mainstream backgrounds with a strong understanding of student needs are welcome. QTS is essential.
