PMO Analyst Executive Reporting & Communications (Outside IR35 Contract) Day Rate: Circa £500 per day Location: London (Hybrid) Duration: Initial 6 months, with potential extension Start: ASAP A major financial services organisation is seeking a top-tier PMO professional to support a large, business-critical transformation programme. This is a high-visibility role requiring exceptional organisational capability, stakeholder management and reporting quality. The Role You will work closely with senior Programme Managers and cross-functional workstreams to ensure the smooth running of a complex programme. This is a hands-on PMO role where you will be trusted to take ownership, maintain structure, and elevate the overall quality of programme governance. The successful candidate will bring a blend of professionalism, diplomacy, and a willingness to roll up their sleeves where needed whether thats producing premium-level steerco materials or coordinating logistics to keep momentum moving. Key Responsibilities Produce senior-level SteerCo and Executive Reporting packs to an exceptional standard (PowerPoint expertise essential). Own programme financials and budgets, ensuring accuracy, tracking, and timely updates. Maintain high-quality status reports, RAID logs, plans, and governance documentation. Build strong, positive working relationships across the programme, supporting senior PMs with professionalism and a collaborative mindset. Coordinate programme logistics, including meeting scheduling, workshop organisation, and ensuring dependencies are managed effectively. Oversee third-party resourcing and vendor management, including contract coordination and onboarding. Provide general PMO support to ensure the programme operates smoothly, predictably, and with structure. Handle Excel reporting, analysis, and pivot tables with confidence. About You A proven PMO Analyst / PMO Lead with extensive experience supporting complex change or transformation programmes. Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence, coordinate and work with a range of personalities especially senior project managers. Highly organised, pragmatic, and solutions-focused; able to multitask and maintain quality under pressure. A PowerPoint guru with the ability to create executive-ready packs. Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables and data manipulation. Confident in managing third parties, resourcing partners, and contract-related administration. Approachable, diplomatic, and dependable. Someone who keeps a programme running smoothly without friction.
