JOB TITLE: UK Fleet Manager
LOCATION: Flexible (Heathrow/London/Gatwick)
REPORTING TO: UK Head of Procurement
DIRECT REPORTS: Fleet & Insurance Officer
SHIFT PATTERN: Monday to Friday, 40 HOURS PER WEEK

Job Objective & Responsibilities:
To provide high quality, professional management of the UK Fleet Operations, a fleet which includes cars, LCVs, Buses, and Airport Specific Vehicles. The management of costs and service levels to ensure maximum efficiency and productivity. To ensure all Fleet operations within the UK & Europe remain in compliance with local and national rules and regulations. To manage the analysis and development of productivity measurements within the Fleet department. To simplify and/or improve processes, determine performance standards by tracking and trending data, and conducting operations and vehicle fleet cost and usage rate analyses.
Main Duties:
1. Lead all aspects of fleet operations management activities.
2. Provide support and management to fleet department and deal with escalations.
3. Understand requirements of business partners and engage in strategic planning and partnering to ensure alignment to local and global ABM goals.
4. Manage fleet related supply chain. Be responsible for the development and management of all fleet related supplier agreements from an operational perspective.
5. Work closely with the UK Procurement Team on commercial aspects of fleet related supplier agreements.
6. Embed Fleet Management Systems into operational use.
7. Provide detailed reports to Operational Teams to enable effective use of resources, services, and assets for Company Fleet.
8. Manage performance and monitor contractual compliance and SLA achievements of all 3rd Party Lease and Maintenance Partners.
9. Manage the usage and upkeep of third-party applications including but not limited to Congestion Charge, MID, Ring Go, IBMS, Dartcharge, fuel card services and Telematics systems. Including monitoring for GDPR compliance.
10. Analyse all costs and identify cost saving opportunities for fleet related activities.
11. Promote and manage best practice to all UK group fleet users.
12. Manage and maintain FORS accreditation for mandatory contractual obligation on relevant proportion of the UK fleet.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
13. Previous experience of working with multi vehicle type commercial fleets.
14. Good communication skills, the ability to work calmly under pressure and deal with high volumes of incoming queries.
15. Ability to work accurately and to tight deadlines with excellent attention to detail.
16. Outstanding interpersonal skills including ability to professionally challenge and question requests from the business.
17. A proactive/can do attitude to work and ability to work on own initiative.
18. The ability to effectively prioritise your workload and build relationships with key stakeholders both internally and external to the business.
19. Have a strong working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Teams, Office 365, and Outlook
DESIRABLE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
20. Familiarity of Vehicle Telematics systems and other Fleet Management software
QUALIFICATIONS
21. Holds or happy to work towards a FORS Practitioner Qualification
