Title: Live in or Live Out Nanny Housekeeper PA in Malpas, Cheshire Location: Malpas, Cheshire, SY14 Start Date: Mon Jan 05 2026 Children: G1 Salary: £700 per week Days/Hours: Thursday to Monday 35-40 hours a week Employment Type: Live out, Live in, Permanent Duties will Include: Children's Laundry & Ironing, Cooking, Food Shopping / Online, Errands, Family Housekeeping, Pet Care A highly organised, proactive, and discreet Housekeeper/Nanny PA is required to support a private family in Malpas with one adorable little girl age 1.5. This position is 80% housekeeping and 20% nanny, with the heavier housekeeping demand falling across the weekend. The right person will bring excellent attention to detail, enjoy running a home smoothly, and be confident managing their routine independently. The family also values someone who can help with errands, food preparation, and sourcing fresh produce from the local farm shop. The role includes occasional overnight stays, basic pet care, and the option to travel with the family. You will work alongside an existing part-time housekeeper and nannies and should feel comfortable within a small household team. Accommodation (Live-In Option) This role offers beautiful private accommodation set within a stunning rural Cheshire countryside location, giving you the peace and quiet of village life while still being just 20 minutes from Chester and Wrexham. The live-in arrangement includes: • A private bedroom • Your own en-suite bathroom • A separate private lounge/living area • Access to scenic walks and open countryside right on your doorstep You’ll be joining a relaxed, warm, and friendly family who value professionalism, kindness, and a calm household atmosphere. The accommodation is ideal for someone who enjoys rural living with quick access to nearby towns and amenities Key Duties Housekeeping • Full housekeeping of all rooms, including dusting, hoovering, and mopping • Deep cleaning of bathrooms, kitchen areas, and other high-use spaces • Laundry, ironing, wardrobe management, and fabric care • Bed-making and weekly linen changes • Organisation of storage spaces, children’s areas, and communal rooms • Restocking household supplies, organising the fridge, and managing pantry items • Waste, recycling, and overall household upkeep • Running errands such as dry cleaning, parcel returns, and household shopping • Collecting fresh produce and ingredients from the local farm shop • Simple meal preparation and general food organisation- batch cooking, fridge restocks • Packing and unpacking for family travel • PA assistant duties within the home • Coordinating daily tasks with the existing housekeeper • Pet care for the family dogs (no walking required) Nanny Support • Occasional supervision of 1 year old child at home and supporting nursery drop offs • Helping with simple routines and some gentle weekend support alongside existing nanny team. • Light play-based engagement when needed • Ensuring children’s bedrooms and play spaces remain tidy and organised • Occasional babysitting and occasional overnights • Assisting parents with any ad-hoc childcare needs (This is not a full nanny role — childcare is supplementary and typically part of the weeks duties.) Travel & Overnight Flexibility • Comfortable with occasional overnight stays • Willingness to travel domestically with the family when required Professional Standards The successful candidate must: • Maintain privacy, discretion, and confidentiality at all times • Respect boundaries and follow household protocols • Sign and adhere to a confidentiality agreement (NDA) Candidate Requirements: To be considered for this role, candidates must meet all of the usual Happy Nest Nanny & Maternity Agency criteria, which include• • Minimum 5 years’ experience in private households • Strong housekeeping and organisational skills • Confident with simple cooking and food prep • Excellent Checkable references • Pet-friendly • Flexible for overnights or travel as needed • Physically fit for a hands-on housekeeping role • Clear Enhanced DBS & Paediatric First aid certificate • Full Clean Driving licence • Previous experience in high-net-worth or fully staffed homes • Familiarity with non-toxic cleaning methods (all products provided) If this sounds like the perfect role for you, we'd love to hear from you.
