Your Qualifications
As a patent attorney (f/m/d)
you have an excellent university degree in mechanical engineering, physics, or a comparable technical or scientific field of study, as well as certification as a German and/or European patent attorney. Regardless of whether you already have several years of professional experience or are just starting your career as a patent attorney, you are characterized by a high level of professional commitment, a keen interest in current technical developments, and the ability to apply your knowledge in a targeted and practical manner for our clients.
As a person
you enjoy successful teamwork, have a confident and engaging manner, and are quick on the uptake. You are able to analyze complex technical and legal issues precisely and present them clearly and convincingly.
Very good English skills, ideally acquired during a stay abroad, are a prerequisite for working in our international team; German skills are desirable.

Your Tasks
As a patent attorney, you will be part of our international team and will be responsible for independently drafting and handling patent applications and responding to examination reports from patent offices. You will be in direct contact with our clients and represent their interests in opposition and appeal proceedings, including oral hearings. In addition, you will contribute to expert opinions on the legal status and infringement of intellectual property rights, as well as complex patent infringement proceedings.
The position can also be filled at our offices in Düsseldorf or London.
