About Our Client
Our client is a well established accountancy firm in Surrey. Having reached full capacity at their HQ, they have recently opened a 2nd office in Guildford. They are planning to continue to grow with the ambition of becoming Surrey's largest, independent accountancy firm.
Job Description
3. Plan, execute, and finalise audit assignments in accordance with applicable standards.
4. Prepare financial statements and reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
5. Supervise and mentor junior team members to support their development.
6. Identify and communicate audit findings and recommendations to clients.
7. Ensure all audit work is completed within agreed timelines and budgets.
8. Corporate tax returns.
9. Stay updated on changes in accounting and auditing standards.
10. Work collaboratively within the team to improve processes and deliver exceptional service.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Audit Senior should have:
11. A professional accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA, or equivalent.
12. Experience in audit within the accountancy industry for a large independent or mid-tier practice.
13. Strong technical knowledge of auditing and financial reporting standards.
14. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
15. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
16. Strong communication skills to liaise with clients and team members.
17. A proactive approach to identifying process improvements.
