Product Manager - Legal Tech that Actually Helps People
(Hybrid, 2–3 days a week in the office)
You know those companies that say they’re “disrupting the legal industry”? This one actually is. They’ve built tech that helps solicitors and their clients untangle the messy business of estate administration - and they’re growing fast enough to need a Product Manager who can keep that momentum going.
This isn’t a role for clipboard carriers or people who think “agile” just means having lots of meetings. You’ll be hands-on, running standups, shaping the roadmap, smoothing communication between tech and the rest of the business, and making sure products land on time and actually work.
You’ll be the bridge between bright ideas and reliable delivery. Not just ticking boxes, but turning chaos into clarity.
What you’ll be doing
• Running daily standups, retrospectives, and monthly planning sessions
• Turning vague ideas into proper user stories and actionable tasks
• Managing and prioritising the backlog (and saying “no” when needed) • Keeping everyone honest about deadlines and delivery
• Testing releases, coordinating launches, and chasing down bugs
• Talking to real humans – developers, suppliers, stakeholders – and keeping them aligned
• Spotting better ways of doing things and actually doing them
You’ll probably need to have:
• A background in product management or delivery coordination
• Experience working closely with development teams
• An understanding of agile methods that goes beyond buzzwords
• The confidence to herd developers, managers, and suppliers in the same direction
• Bonus points if you’ve touched legal tech, fintech, or anything heavily regulated
• Some analytical sense - Power BI, Hotjar, whatever gets the job done
You’ll fit in if you:
• Get a kick out of solving problems rather than just talking about them
• Prefer conversations to status updates
• Like a bit of structure, but not bureaucracy
• Enjoy seeing your work actually ship
If you fancy building something that makes life easier for the legal world (and not just another pointless app), this might be worth a chat.
